Scholastics:

Milana earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) with distinction from Pacific University. During her time in grad school, she was Vice President of her class and served as a student ambassador for all three years. She also attended Pacific for her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science- Integrative Physiology with a Psychology minor and graduated cum laude. She attended Beaverton High School. 

Experience:

Milana completed a variety of rotations during physical therapy school which included: pediatrics in South Africa, acute care (adult and pediatrics), home health, and orthopedics. She also worked as a rehab aide at an outpatient orthopedic clinic and children's hospital before starting graduate school. Milana is a certified medical interpreter in Serbo-Croatian and Bosnian. She values the importance of cultural competence and engaging with diversity when approaching patient care. 

Achievements:

Milana is an active member of APTA Oregon and during her graduate schooling was the recipient of the Rutt-Morgan Endowed Scholarship, Sara-Hopkins Powell Scholarship, Lellelid Endowed Scholarship, Anna D. Dosen Scholarship, and College of Health Professions Diversity Endowed Scholarship. 

Hobbies:

Milana's hobbies include indoor/grass/sand volleyball, Serbian folk dancing, playing Rummikub, collaging, spending quality time with family, exploring small towns and surrounding cities, and spending time in nature while taking photos of all things plants and flowers. She has an Instagram page dedicated solely to her discoveries in nature. She is a big foodie and loves trying new restaurants, bakeries, and coffee shops.
