Scholastics:
Shalini graduated from Willamette University with a degree in Exercise Science. She then attended the University of Washington graduating with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
Credentials:
Shalini has pursued her passion in the specialty of pelvic health; having completed her Level 1 and 2A courses through Herman & Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute. Shalini is also an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA). She plans to pursue credentialing in Manual Therapy.
Experience:
Shalini has worked in outpatient orthopedics treating a variety of conditions, including post-operative rehab, lumbar and sacroiliac joint pain, hypermobility, BPPV/vestibular, balance dysfunction, and chronic pain. She has additionally completed clinical rotations in inpatient pediatrics, acute care for medical surgery and oncology, and outpatient orthopedics with a focus on joint replacements. Shalini has found a passion for treating chronic pain conditions throughout her experience and believes in a holistic approach between mind, body, and spirit.
Hobbies:
Shalini enjoys many artistic pursuits including painting with watercolor and acrylics and taking dance classes. She also enjoys attending live music events, performing karaoke, and is always discovering new music. When the weather is nice, she likes to spend time by the water and enjoy a nice stroll with good views.
