Scholastics:
Gina Huang graduated from Chang Gung University with a Bachelor of Science degree. After gaining a year of experience as a physical therapist in Taiwan, she ventured to the U.S. to further her studies at Loma Linda University, where she successfully obtained her Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT).
Credentials:
Gina has recently become certified as a GYROTONIC® Apprentice Trainer. She plans to continue her pathway to become a Certified GYROTONIC® Trainer this year. Additionally, she is dedicated to her ongoing professional development and has pursued continuing education (CE) training in MovementLinks, Visceral Manipulation (Level 1), and more. Gina’s passion for learning drives her to explore new areas of expertise. She aspires to add Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS) and Herman & Wallace Pelvic Floor (Level 1) to her list of accomplishments in the future.
Experience:
Gina has been practicing at an outpatient orthopedic physical therapy clinic in Taiwan. Her patient population primarily consists of weekend warriors, young professional athletes, individuals with work-related injuries, and more. During her clinical rotations in school, she gained experience in various PT fields including pediatrics, neurology, acute care, cardiopulmonary, hydrotherapy, and orthopedics, which broadened her perspective. However, orthopedic physical therapy has been the main focus of her career thus far.
Hobbies:
Gina’s hobbies include GYROTONIC®, hiking, weight training, and singing karaoke. She is a big fan of outdoor activities, particularly enjoying spending whole days exploring various trails in National Parks. As a new settler in Oregon, she is ready to immerse herself in the beauty of the natural surroundings by embarking on hiking adventures.
